I vacillated on whether I should post this image or not. Watching the Circle of Life play out in the rawest form is very tough. While on a recent Snow Coach tour into the interior of Yellowstone, we came upon the Wapiti Lake Wolf Pack preying upon an injured bison.

I won't give a lot of details, but that bison was very tough. Most of the pack participated in wearing him down. As darkness was approaching the majority of the pack converged on the bison. What an amazing photo and story Julie. What a tough spot to be in. I guess she left this earth on her own terms, better than being eaten alive. It must have been so hard to watch, I don't think I could.
