Artist's Description
This is grizzly bear 1063 in Grand Teton National Park. She is also known as Bonita and Fritter. She is 6 years old according to a Park Ranger that was there. She is yet to have any cubs. Hopefully, next spring when she comes out of hibernation she will not be alone.
About Julie Barrick
I started getting interested in photography about the time my family and I were planning our first trip to Yellowstone. My love for photography has grown immensely since that first trip out west 10 years ago. My primary focus is on wildlife, but I also love photographing the night sky and landscapes. I get all of my inspiration from God as he is the creator and sustainer of such magnificence. I love photographing animals at our farm in Kentucky. Whether it be our farm animals or the abundant wildlife, there is always something to photograph out there.
